Clothspins, grandkids, TV, and Thanksgiving

Clothespins -- Ben and Gram usually try to see if they can place a clothespin on the other person without their knowing it. Fun and games.

See the clothespin on the hood of sweater.

LEAVES, GRANDDAUGHTERS AND FRIENDS

I haven't found too many kids who don't like to jump in to Fall leaf piles. They love to rake them up and jump in them time and time again.
The bouquet at the top is one our daughter sent us on the occasion of her 40th. birthday. She sent it to us to "Thank us for 40 years", and that was the sweetest thing. She gave us so many great memories, that they will last forever.
Even the new puppy, Zeke, likes to get in the leaves, but I imagine that they don't want him to get into the pile to deposit any items he may want to do. The kids wouldn't like that.
Enjoy the Fall--Winter is on it's way.

The tree and our car

This is what our car looks like now! We were over at Todd and Kim's helping them to get everything out of their house, since the new owner takes possession of it on Wednesday.
Charlie was with Todd taking a load of furniture to Keysville, and Kim was in her driveway. She heard something and saw the top of one of their trees drop to the ground and then sort of bounced and landed on our car. We have several holes in the windshield, and a few dents in the hood and in the top of the car. Charlie was glad that the windshield broke, since he had been complaining that he couldn't get the windshield clean, and the window would fog up so bad at night that we could hardly see to drive at night. Our car insurance person said that the car would be picked up yesterday, but Kim just called to say that it is still sitting in her driveway. At least it didn't rain over there, or the inside of the car would be soaked. We had a horrible thunder storm about 5 p.m. last night and the rain came down in buckets. I will have to call the insurance office very soon. I am now dringing a 2009 Mazda. It is smaller than I am used to, and I was surprised to find out that the car does not have power windows! I thought they all did. We have no idea when we will get our car back. Kim does want it to get out of their yard, since the new owner will be taking over tomorrow.

Sam's 12th B-Day Party at the "Polar Xpress"

Sam opening a present at his birthday party.

All getting together for the 12th birthday party for Sam.

CAKE

"limbo"

Playing a beat on the tom-toms, or are they bongos?

Getting ice cream for their birthday cake.
We had music in the "Keysville Station" to entertain all of us. They did the "CHICKEN" and the "LIMBO".

"LIMBO"
Again.

Going to take some pictures at the festivities.

They forgot to smile.

Pretending an accident is going to happen. They had fun playing with the wheelchairs that were at the station.

This accident may happen, bike is way too small for you, Fred.

Sloppy Joes are very good at parties

Eating at the party

Grandpa, Pete, and Fred are chowing down.

Eating. It seemed that the "Polar Xpress" got very busy while we were trying to eat. I guess everyone saw a party going on and thought they would stop to get some ice cream. Kim was finally able to eat her supper with us. Todd is chowing down on his food.

The CAKE
It was very good. We all had a very good time, and we know that Sam did.
