Nichole's third grade musical program for Presidents' Day

Nichole asked me to go to her luncheon at school for her third grade musical program for Presidents' Day. I had a Chef's Salad, green beans, applesauce, chocolate milk, and a cookie, that I gave to Nichole to eat. The third graders made all the place mats that were used in the cafeteria for our trays. They did a great job. They had also drawn figures of the famous men in history and put them on the back wall of the cafeteria. It was different going through a cafeteria line, since neither our elementary, nor our high school had a cafeteria. Now, most schools have them.
We were really surprised that Nichole was in the front row of a program. Our family has always been very TALL, and none of us have ever been in the front row. Maybe, since the kids were on risers, that was the reason. She was in the group that sang up front. Nichole was in the back, and you can see her face and hat. They did a great job with the program, with different students playing the parts of the presidents whose birthdays they were celebrating.
All the parents and grandparents thought that the third graders had a great program. The students were allowed to go home after the program was over, at 1 p.m.
Tomorrow is the kindergarten musical program, so I will also be going to Abbey's program. It is being held at 5:30 at the school.

It looks like a great program. I can't get over how much Nichole looks like Todd! Peter is in the front quite a bit. He doesn't like it though.

Where did you eat lunch in elementary and high school? Sounds like you enjoyed being with Nichole! :-)
