CHRISTMAS DAY

This is Christmas Day at Kim and Todd's house.
We got over there just after 9 a.m. and I didn't think
that was too bad a time. We had told them to go
ahead and start opening gifts.
The girls were very excited about all the gifts.
Nichole was very happy with the I-Dog that we
got her, and Abbey loved the Magic Diary that we
had gotten her. We had a very delicious dinner. We all ate so much food, but we couldn't help it
because we were all so hungry. We all had a very Merry Christmas!

CHRISTMAS AND CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS

The girls were in a program at
Church. They did a great job.
Abbey was the song announcer,
and the only one who could not
read, but she memorized it well.

This is our Christmas tree. Last weekend when we were keeping the girls, they decorated the tree for us. It really looks beautiful.
I am just hoping that I will be able to
get the girls after the New Years to
help take the tree down.

EXERCISE TIME ????????? SOMETIMES

These are some of the exercise that our grandchildren get during their fun times. Just thought I would send some pictures of what some of them are into. Most of the grandkids love to jump on the trampoline. Many of the grandchildren are into sports, while the girls are into dance classes and acrobatics. We will havesix of our nine grandchildren here for Christmas, which will be great. Their parents will also be here for the fun.
Hope everyone has a great holiday season.

These are some more of pictures from our daughter and son-in-laws place.
They have a 100 year old house, as well as a 100 year old barn, I guess.
The geese are swimming across the pond and are just making ripples across the surface of the water.
It is a very peaceful and serene place to walk around and just look at the scenery. A very special place to raise our four grandsons!

Thanksgiving dinner and exercise!

This was our one-day-early Thanksgiving celebration! Paula and Chris left on
Thanksgiving Day for Ohio and her class reunion.
The boys jumped on the trampoline and I got some different
exercise-an old fationed swing, my style of exercise.
I'll show what all everyone did another day!

It's getting to feel a lot like---Winter!

It is getting to feel like that cold season of the year that we call Winter! It is great to have a wood burner in the living room to get the chill out of the bones.

A train ride--a very small train!

Dad getting a BIG KISS from daughter, Abigail.

At a Christmas Bazaar!

Abbey thought that the train ride was lots of fun!

GUESS WHO? I told Santa what I wanted for Christmas! Lots of money, Honey!

Abbey had a list for Santa that she wanted for Christmas, since she has been a very, very good girl this year!

Birthday Girl

She has been a very good girl, too.
You can even have two pieces of cake!

Lunch with Abbey at school

We had a great time at lunch with Abbey. The kindergartners were all dressed at "railroad engineers" and the scene on the stage was a railroad theme.
We had a very good meal, turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, a salad, a home-made wheat roll, and chocolate milk.
Abbey's very best friend and her mom and dad were there, also.
The kindergartners got up on stage and sang "railroad songs"
They were separated into their classes on stage.
They did a great job singing.
After the program, I got a good picture of Lilian and Abbey.

Some more pictures of the grandchildren

These are some of the pictures of our grandchildren and some of the things that they do and get into. They are all very good students and that is really something in this day and age.

They just grow up too fast, as did our children. It is really hard to believe that our kids are all in their 30's. They have all been to college and graduated with honors, and some have gotten several degrees. They are doing a great job raising their children, and if their kids turn out even half as good as their parents, that will be great.

I know that all of them are looking forward to Thanksgiving and to Christmas, which is right

around the corner from now. Pretty soon it will be another New Year coming up. We are
hoping that this new year will be better than the one before it.
