Lunch with Abbey at school

We had a great time at lunch with Abbey. The kindergartners were all dressed at "railroad engineers" and the scene on the stage was a railroad theme.
We had a very good meal, turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, a salad, a home-made wheat roll, and chocolate milk.
Abbey's very best friend and her mom and dad were there, also.
The kindergartners got up on stage and sang "railroad songs"
They were separated into their classes on stage.
They did a great job singing.
After the program, I got a good picture of Lilian and Abbey.

Some more pictures of the grandchildren

These are some of the pictures of our grandchildren and some of the things that they do and get into. They are all very good students and that is really something in this day and age.

They just grow up too fast, as did our children. It is really hard to believe that our kids are all in their 30's. They have all been to college and graduated with honors, and some have gotten several degrees. They are doing a great job raising their children, and if their kids turn out even half as good as their parents, that will be great.

I know that all of them are looking forward to Thanksgiving and to Christmas, which is right

around the corner from now. Pretty soon it will be another New Year coming up. We are
hoping that this new year will be better than the one before it.

Fun things that the Grandchildren do.

This is a bit of a collection of pictures of our nine grandchildren. Most of them are in some sport or dance class. They have a wonderful time! We love to visit them and see how fast they are growing. We don't want them to grow up too fast, but they seem to do that. Our oldest grandkid just got his driver's permit. Everybody on the roads be careful of him now. All of our grandkids are so very SPECIAL and we are so PROUD of them, as well as their parents. Wish we could see them more often, but we will try harder to do that.

Fred is studying for mid-terms and he had several projects to get done.
His game was on Monday and we weren't able to get up there until Thursday. But know that he played another great season of football.

Pete didn't have his baseball game, since it was

cancelled because of rain. He decided to go

to a Halloween-Birthday party. He had fun.

Ben going out on the soccer field to try some interferring with the other team. He had several "head butts" at this game.

Sam is playing football this year
for the first time. He is doing a
great job. Keep up the good work!
