Garden Club Tour of MacCullum More Museum & Gardens

A mushroom table and stools don't look that comfortable.

Fountain, statues and anchors in the gardens

Walkways in the 5 acre gardens are beautiful.
This area is where about 4 to 6 weddings are held during the year.

Ponds and fountains

This is the museum at the back of the property. The Arthur Robertson Exhibit displays Indian artifactsd collected locally by Chase City native Arthur Robertson, some items dating from 95oo B.C. to 1600 A.D., which give a clear picture of the lifestyles and cultures of the 7 periods of Native Americans.

Stone walls are all over the property.

This garden club tour was very enlightening about the town that is only 20 miles South of here. There were only 4 members who had been there before. I guess the museum doesn't have much publicity, but it was a great tour.

Since he has no hair, maybe "blue hair" will do

This is the chair that Charlie had re-done for me when I was up in Ohio. I was really very surprised, and the fabric is great. I am glad that this finally got in the blog. I had tried to put it on twice, but something happens always and it gets clicked out of the picture.
