We had a storm today, but the people at the end of our road had the damage.

Two big pine trees on the left at the entrance to Aubrey Road were uprooted. There were limbs down across the street from here, also, their shed's roof was twisted.
The brick house had lots of branches hitting their nice fence and knocking it over.

Two of the pictures are of the huge oak tree behind the brick house, that is leaning on several other trees. You can see the huge root ball.
The next house had their tree topped and some of the branches fell on the house. The trailer on the lot just before this house had one of their trees topped, also. Todd had driven down to our place right after the 3 1/2 inches of rain that we got during the storm, and he told us about the damage.
We didn't have any trees knocked down, at least we haven't checked in the back. Todd and Dad went up on Hidden Pond Road, but didn't see any trees down back there. It looked like a tornado just decided to hit right at the end of Aubrey Road.

The new couch and chair and other pictures

This is the new "Paisley" wall hugger recliner.
It looks great in the room and is so comfortable.
I did take the picture of me sitting in the chair.
This is the new couch. It is very comfortable, too.

Abbey has a lot of teeth missing, doesn't she??!!
Tori and Tilly at the ice cream shoppe.
Nichole and a friend at the ice cream shoppe.
The last three pictures are of a fungus of some sort that was out in the woods in front of a tree.
Nichole put her foot above it to show how big the fungus was. Charlie and I went back to look at it the other day, and it had all dried up and you couldn't even see much of it at all, but I didn't have my camera with me.

This are just some of the pictures that didn't get in the blog that I did just before I did this one. I don't know why some of the pictures get lost in the procedure, but I did NOT like it, so had to get back on and do another blog. Some of these pictures were from the dance preformance that the girls did of "CATS" at the nursing home. Some are of the "Polar Xpress" ice cream shop and when Todd got home from base on Friday evening. I took two pictures in the car right after we all went swimming at the "Y". I wasn't allowed to take pictures at the pool. Charlie and I are enjoying some ice cream.
